Menstrual cycle

It consists in the regular alterations that take place in the female reproductive organs. The cycle itself is a period when an ovule matures, detaches and goes into the lumen of the uterus through the uterine tube; ovarian hormone secretions cause alterations in the endometrium, making it possible for nestling to occur in case of fertilization; if there is no fertilization, ovarian secretion stops, the endometrium desquamates, and menstruation begins.
